REFLECTION

The world is forever evolving but the inequalities and indifferences are not.

We must unite the world to peace with empathy.

Florida International University's Global Learning initiative has guided and educated me with a better understanding of issues being faced in different groups and areas in present time. As a student focused on the environment and the public's health, the global learning courses and experiences are a major reason why I am capable to engage in local, global, international, and intercultural problem solving.

Currently, I hope to use my awareness at FIU when working there to help the current and prospective students. While working alongside non-profits, such as Catalyst Miami and local national parks to educate my community on the effects of climate change and go against any opposing officials. In time, I plan to obtain a Master's in Public Health, where I can use my many resources from global learning and FIU to work on research projects regarding the health of the people, especially minority groups.

This has not only helped me but I plan to use what I learned forever and share it among others, and plan on tuning in to more Round Table Talks.
