All countries need equitable amounts and clean water for all with the understanding of empathy and awareness. We need to focus on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level of all things and people, including the water. 

The Great Pumpkin Rescue

a friend and I worked together on this as a project of our own. We formed a great group of people who were interested with the help of the Soustainability Club, hospitality students, and Sustainability office at FIU MMC campus. After weeks of research and physically going to locations we obtained around 20 pumpkins. One big donor was Kendall United Methodist Church. we baked pumpkin loaf, pumpkin cookies, and pumpkin seed and donated to a homeless shelter.

CLEAR Catalyst Miami

Catalyst Miami is a community driven organization working to solve issues affecting low income communities. I volunteered with their CLEAR initiative  and utilized knowledge in socio-cultural issues from climate change to build a stronger community by administrating proposals within local area and participating in issues of other communities near by.

FIU DC FLY-IN

I attended FIU's DC FLY-IN with Eric Feldman in Spring 2022. The fly-in's focus was Women in Politics. A group of students and I met with multiple women in power striving for equality and justice. A great learning experience of advocation in policy, something very crucial in environmental studies and needs.
